Fans are invited to get up close and personal with rising indie-pop stars Blossoms when they visit a Sheffield music store.
The Stockport five-piece are appearing at HMV in Sheffield to perform live and sign copies of their forthcoming self-titled debut album, which is due for release on Friday, August 6.
An HMV spokesman said: “Blossoms are proving a very popular band. Catapulted into the musical subconscious in January, listed fourth in the BBC Soundpoll – as well as almost every other ‘ones to watch’ list – Blossoms have been carefully carving out their position in the canon of Great British Rock’n’Roll ever since.
“The band have earned rave critical comparisons to everyone from Arctic Monkeys to Depeche Mode, shapeshifting between psychedelia, synth-pop and powerhouse indie, a mercurial sound at once familiar and unique.”
Blossoms will be appearing at HMV, High Street, Sheffield, on Tuesday, August 9, from noon.
