Budding actors have the chance to get on stage this week and follow in the footsteps of Doncaster-born stars such as Sheridan Smith and Thomas Howes.
Doncaster Little Theatre is looking for actors to fill roles in a number of its upcoming productions, and is holding Open Auditions for male and female actors aged 18 and over.
Kevin Spence, artistic director, said: “The Little Theatre’s full programme of productions sometimes leaves our members fully committed and we have difficulty casting plays from our existing membership.
“We have an exciting summer programme so if you have been thinking of getting involved in amateur theatre, there isn’t a better time.”
Auditions will be held on Sunday March 13 at 2pm at the Little Theatre and will involve reading a short piece from one or more of the plays being cast.
