Hundreds take part in Sheffield charity foam run

More than 450 caring runners turned out for a fun fundraiser this morning despite wet weather.

All ages joined the Fun Foam Run at Weston Park in Sheffield to help raise funds for various charities including Roubdabout, which supports young homeless people in the city.

The 5km run featured giant foam cannons, a deep foam pit and inflatable obstacles.

Event organiser Graham Sandersfield, said: “Today’s turn out is more than double last year’s so it doesn’t look like the weather put anyone off.”
