LITTLE Nathaniel Booth found exactly what he was looking for when he visited his local Doncaster library.

The five-year-old managed to locate his egg during an Easter egg hunt at Thorne Library.

He was one of a number of youngsters taking part in the activity run by Sabina Gumulak, who works for Doncaster’s Library Service’s reading development team.

The activity was one of the events which have been run at the libraries in the borough during the schools’ Easter holidays.

Organisers are hoping the events will encourage more youngsters to use their libraries and get them to do more reading.

The event was run within the children’s section of the library, which is based at Fieldside in the town.

Admission was free and the event was aimed at youngsters aged under 10.

Events run under the Breakout for Easter scheme were due to continue today, with events including a fun swimming session at Dearne Valley Leisure Centre in Conisbrough.
