Couples looking to tie the knot in Rotherham can now take their vows in Clifton Museum.
From Monday, the recently redecorated Dining Room in the museum will become a ceremony venue for Rotherham Registration Service.
In December alone, 23 couples have booked ceremonies in the Grade II-listed Georgian building.
Each couple will be allowed a maximum of 40 seated guests in the ground-floor room at the back of the house with views overlooking the park.
Louise Sennitt, superintendent registrar for Rotherham, described the new ceremony room as ‘stunning’.
“Clifton Park Museum is a charming building in its own right,” she added.
“But after redecoration the ceremony room looks really lovely. I am sure couples will think so too, especially as the building is surrounded by beautiful parkland, which is perfect for photographs, making the museum a wonderful venue for anyone wanting a ceremony.”
