RELAX among the books at a Sheffield library.

Chapeltown library is hosting three relaxation meditation classes.

The self-contained classes, organised by the Gyaltsabje Kadampa Buddhist Centre charity, are on consecutive Thursdays, from 7pm to 8.30pm, starting on October 25, and cost £5 each or £12 for all three.

Each class will feature guided meditations, a teaching on positive thinking, and an opportunity to ask questions.

Patrick Kenny, who is helping to run the classes, said: “These classes are a great for people who are new to meditation or want to find a way to relax.

“You don’t need any experience, or to book beforehand, so just come along and give it a go.”
