X FACTOR winner Matt Cardle is about to collide with a few lucky fans in Sheffield – and YOU could be one of them.
The When We Collide chart-topper is the star of the next one-off Real Radio Intimate Performance at the city’s Winter Garden, on Tuesday, January 31.
And The Star has got 20 money-can’t-buy tickets to be won.
Fans can also win tickets by listening to Real Radio. But there’s no other way of getting in to the show.
Matt is about to embark on a 23-date tour of the UK but fans were gutted when promoters missed out on a Sheffield date.
He thrilled thousands when he turned on the Christmas lights at Meadowhall and promised The Star he would make every effort to play in the city this year.
And he’s keeping his word after Real Radio teamed up with Sheffield Council and the Mercure St Paul’s Hotel to stage this exclusive acoustic show, backed by The Star.
Matt won X Factor in 2010 and went straight to number one with his debut single, When We Collide.
He will perform tracks from his eagerly-awaited debut album, Letters, which outsold records by Arctic Monkeys, Professor Green, Nicole Scherzinger, The Saturdays, The Wanted and Pixie Lott in 2011.
Letters this week smashed through the 300,000 UK sales barrier to earn a coveted platinum disc. It features Gary Barlow-penned hit single Run For Your Life. New single Amazing is out early next month.
Steve South, managing director of Real Radio Yorkshire, said: “Matt has proved to be a real troubadour musician and a top performer.
“This is a great opportunity to see an artist who before very long will be filling arenas across the country and to see just why Matt Cardle really has got the X Factor.”
