THERE’LL be a kind of hush when sixties idols Herman’s Hermits return to South Yorkshire next month - and we have tickets to be won.
Since their Manchester beginnings, on April 1, 1964, they have had more than two dozen top 20 singles, 10 hit albums, three major movies and world-wide concert tours – selling over 75 million records.
Peter Noone left for a solo career in 1971, but the group has never stopped. Original member Barry Whitwam, has guided them as they perform all their hits – including Mrs Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter, No Milk Today, Something Is Happening, Henry VIII, There’s A Kind Of Hush and many more.
They play Rotherham Civic Theatre on Saturday, February 4, at 7.30pm. Tickets, which may be subject to a booking fee, are £16. Buy in person, call 01709-823621 or book online at www.rotherham.gov.uk/theatres.
