HERE they come, walking down the street – hey, hey it’s The Monkees and the legendary Sixties band play Sheffield City Hall on Friday, May 20, 8pm.
To celebrate their 45th Anniversary we have 10 tickets and five albums to be won.
The original TV boyband are back together for their first UK tour in 12 years.
British-born Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork wrote the script for modern day pop music when the Beatles-like band was formed to star in their own TV comedy series about the group’s crazy antics, from 1966 to 68.
They became real pop superstars, providing the soundtrack to teenage lives and selling 50 million records, with hits including Daydream Believer, Last Train to Clarksville, I’m a Believer and (I’m Not Your) Steppin’ Stone.
Now three of the four founding members are back to celebrate over four decades of The Monkees.
