SOUTH Yorkshire songbird Kate Rusby is celebratintg 20-years in the music business and we are celebrating by giving away CDs and tickets to her upcoming homecoming concert, writes Graham Walker.

The folk superstar plays Sheffield City Hall on Sunday, October 21.

After a quiet first half of the year, concentrating on writing and recording a new album to celebrate this anniversary appropriately named Twenty, and taking a little time out for the arrival of her second child, Kate has begun touring again.

As a highlight to this landmark year she will be performing two special concerts, one at the Royal Festival Hall, London and this other, in her home county.

She will play old favourites and songs from the new album, with special guest appearances from some of the artists who have contributed to it.

Kate’s wondrous singing, hugely engaging Yorkshire wit and the intuitive support of her band ensure a truly remarkable concert experience.
