Win chance to record in Sheffield studio

Have your say

SHEFFIELD’S Yellow Arch music studios is offering aspiring singers the chance to record and perform.

The Neepsend venue is hosting a competition to find promising vocalists, with entries judged by a panel including musicians Jon McClure, of Reverend & the Makers, and Richard Hawley.

Interested performers must send in a cover track and make a donation of £10 to Cavendish Cancer Care charity.

Winners will get the chance to record in the newly-refurbished studios.

The winner will have their album made available to buy on iTunes and given the chance to play at a live show at Yellow Arch studios.

Jon said: “I’m looking forward to hearing what everyone’s going to come up with. There’s some great talent in Sheffield at the minute and this competition is for a great cause.”
