A West End star will sing songs from the shows and share stories of her life at a Sheffield church.

Tabitha Webb, who has performed in Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, will visit St Luke’s Church, Lodge Moor on Sunday.

As an ambassador for charity Interserve, she will also talk about her recent visits to south and central Asia where the charity is active in working with orphans, trafficked women and the homeless.

The event is part of Interserve’s Love Changes Everything campaign, which is touring the UK and aims to raise funds to help its hospice care programme and orphanages in central Asia.

Reverend Chris Stebbing, vicar of St Luke’s, is delighted to be welcoming Tabitha to the city.

He said: “We’re really excited that Tabitha is taking time out from the West End to come up here to Sheffield to sing some songs from the shows.”

Tickets for the event, which starts at 6.30pm, are on sale now from St Luke’s church office on 0114 230 3199 or 07791 013429.
