Bosses at Derbyshire County Council have agreed to support Stainsby Festival again by helping to set up and dismantle it.

The music event is held at Brunt’s Farm, near Chesterfield, on July 18 to 20.

Coun Andy Botham, deputy cabinet member for jobs, economy and transport said: “We are pleased to be able to offer support to a very popular event - a registered charity run by volunteers on a not-for-profit basis.”

But he added: “We will review this every year and have asked the organisers to try to secure other support in future if possible.”
