SHEFFIELD singer-songwriter Lucy Spraggan has announced details of a homecoming gig.
The X Factor star is preparing to play a handful of songs at Embrace nightclub, Burgess Street in the city centre, next month.
Announcing the gig, Lucy, aged 21, who quit the TV talent show due to illness last month, said: “My Sheffielders, I will be doing a short set at Embrace on December 5.”
Lucy, from Stannington, will be appearing at Boing Boing, the 2,000-capacity club’s Sheffield Hallam University student night, which takes place every Wednesday.
Paul Stray, Embrace general manager, said: “It’s just a student-friendly night, it is open to anybody.”
The club opens at 10.30pm and Lucy is expected to take to the stage sometime after 12.30am to perform a handful of songs.
Paul said: “We jumped at the opportunity to have Lucy. We saw it was available and decided to book it.
“It should be a good night, we’re looking forward to it.”
n Tickets, priced £4, are now available from the venue, Hallam University’s HUBS building and www.embracenightclub.com
