A Sheffield singer is set to try his luck at the big time – at the Bigga Fish ‘Just Talent’ Grand Final in London later this month.
Danny Beattie, aged 21, will take on seven other finalists from across the country onSunday, May 26, performing to a panel of music industry experts for a chance to scoop a package of prizes.
Hundreds of hopefuls auditioned for the national singing competition at the beginning of the year as the judges visited eight cities across the UK.
The top three acts, chosen by the judges at the final in London, will win prizes including studio time, a professional music video, a PR package and song-writing workshops.
Danny said: “I’ve always been interested in music, for as long as I can remember, often singing on karaoke when my family and I went on holiday.
“At senior school I started singing and playing classical music and then, when I left school, I started playing in rock bands.
“Playing music and being on stage means everything to me and I’m really hoping my experience with Just Talent will give me more opportunity to broaden my horizons and step into that world.”
