A SCHOOLGIRL has organised a 12-hour busking marathon to fund a ‘life-changing’ expedition.
High Storrs School pupil Hannah Furnival-Jones, is taking part in a trip to help a remote Venezuelan community this summer.
To pay for the trip, the 15-year-old trombone player has organised a free ‘busk-a-thon’ at St Oswald’s Church Hall, Bannerdale Road, on Saturday.
Musicians performing include flautist Henrik Linnemann and Sheffield-based singer Sally Doherty.
Hannah, from Nether Edge, said: “The trip is going to be life-changing.”
