SCHOOLS in Sheffield taking part in a charity fundraiser are being asked to film or photograph their performances – to help prove they were part of a world record breaking event.
Fourteen city schools are taking part in the sign2sing event on Wednesday, February 6, which is aiming to set a record for the most people singing and signing simultaneously.
Schools are also sharing videos of their rehearsals on the charity’s social media pages in the run up to the day.
Steve Powell, chief executive at charity SignHealth, which is organising the attempt, said: “We would like to remind schools in Sheffield they will need to film or photograph their performances.
“The videos and photos will be sent to Guinness World Records, so it can confirm whether we have broken the record.”
