School premiere of video

A music video created by youngsters at a Sheffield school will gets its premiere this week.

High Storrs School will show the movie, made by youngsters in its Raising Aspirations and Targeting Self Esteem group.

The group helps students who struggle with the transition between primary and secondary school and has already achieved great success.

Nicola Walker, RATS founder and leader, said: “We are thrilled with the results and very excited to be hosting a film premiere style launch night.

“We’re looking forward to sharing our hard work and passion.

“This video will be used as an inspirational tool to help other young people to feel better about themselves and what they can achieve.”

The film is to be premiered on Wednesday night.

It has been produced in school, filmed by A-level students, and edited by members of staff.

RATS will also be selling merchandise and holding a silent auction to continue funding the workshops on the launch evening.
