Rising South Yorkshire stars The Sherlocks are planning to wish their fans a very Merry Christmas.

Fresh from a string of festival performances – including a smash-hit set on the Devonshire Green stage at Sheffield’s own Tramlines event – the quartet have announced their biggest Steel City show to date.

The band – singer Kiaran Crook and his brother Brandon on drums, guitarist Josh Davidson and his brother Andy on bass – are to play Plug, Sheffield city centre, six days before Christmas.

A concert spokesman said: “The Sherlocks bring their unmissable and unforgettable live show to Plug’s big main room on Saturday, December 19, for a huge end-of-year show.

“Having recently played shows with Reverend and the Makers, James, The Enemy and Cast, plus a huge number of big festivals this year, including Isle Of Wight Festival, Tramlines, Y-Not and Sheffield’s Mosborough Music Festival – with more to come at Leeds and Reading Festivals – The Sherlocks are coming to deliver the biggest, wildest, and most exciting gig of the year.

“Armed with a huge arsenal of big anthemic tunes and an even bigger army of faithful fans with the Sherlocks Army out in force, the band are set to pack Plug’s big room to the rafters with this one, their biggest Sheffield show of their careers.

“Anyone who knows The Sherlocks know their gigs sell out rapidly, so grab your tickets now.”
