Jazz singer and double bass player Nicola Farnon, who is currently making a name for herself on the international scene with her Divas of Song show, is appearing in the bar at the Pomegrante Theatre, Chesterfield on Monday night in one of their regular sessions.
She’s also appearing at Leopold Square, Sheffield city centre tomorrow, Sunday, from 2pm.
Nicola is widely recognised as one of the classiest and most accomplished jazz and swing vocalists in the UK. She has performed with top musicians such as Georgie Fame, Alan Price, Claire Teale, Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth.
Her equally accomplished band are drummer Phil Johnson, multi-instrumentalist Piero Tucci and Henrik Linnemann on flute.
