For one weekend a year, the gorgeous Peak District countryside becomes home to the Y Not Festival.
Y Not is the small, fresh & loud music festival, with a fantastic atmosphere and a history of amazing live acts.
There has been steady, organic growth since it began life as a gathering of young people attending an overspilling house party in deepest, darkest, Derbyshirest, Derbyshire. But it does retain the carefree, good-time atmosphere of those original, dawning years.
Y Not officially runs from Friday 1 - Sunday 3 August 2014.
Tickets are £84.50, on sale at www.ynotfestivals.co.uk, and include three days including camping.
Thursday entry: To come a day early (July 31) and see the Thursday bands, Y Notters must get a Thursday entry ticket (£13) in addition to their standard weekend ticket.
This year the festival hosts ten stages, with the best talent from these music genres: rock, indie, hip hop, folk, dance, electronic, punk, blues, acoustic, reggae and roots. Y Not continues to support up and coming talent with its long-established, purpose-built Allotment Stage.
