THESE baroque pop rockers have always had a knack of polarising listeners. Finally they seem to be getting the right side of irritating most of the time with an album that has them injecting fun and flourishes of string-tinted elegance into a third album that has them touching on Muse territory at times and further carving their niche elsewhere.

Finally they seem to be getting the right side of irritating most of the time with an album that has them injecting fun and flourishes of string-tinted elegance into a third album that has them touching on Muse territory at times and further carving their niche elsewhere.

In among it all Hurricane is the kind of bouncy nugget that’ll have many a festival swell swaying this summer while Memories and Ready To Go are built to hug the airwaves. Vices has hooks but Panic remain (sometimes rewardingly) unconventional.
