PANTHERS and Leppards...it’s enough to give David Attenborough palpitations.

Then again, throw in former LA rock bad boys Motley Crüe and he’d probably lose interest.

But on December 13 all three – that’s Sheffield rockers Def Leppard plus Steel Panther as well as the notorious Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil – will play Motorpoint Arena.

“Motley Crüe is excited to do some destruction with long time peers Def Leppard on tour this holiday season,” says Mr Sixx.

“We have never toured together.”

The Lepps headlined Friday night at Download this summer around the release of first live album Mirrorball while the Panthers release second album Balls Out in October.

Frontman Michael Starr says: “To rock with Lepp and Crüe is the best thing that’s happened since we got the Viagra endorsement.”
