GOOD heavens! Sheffield Cathedral rocked when legendary keyboard star Rick Wakeman entertained fans there with his rarely performed one-man show.
The 61-year-old, remembered for his colourful caped costumes and banks of keyboards, entertained with tunes and stories from his progressive rock years with Yes, Black Sabbath, David Bowie and other music greats.
Standout performances included Dance of a Thousand Lights from album Return to the Centre of the Earth – performed with a tape of the London Symphony Orchestra.
Other highlights included debut solo album hit Catherine Howard, Yes smash Wondrous Stories, Gone But not Forgotten dedicated to his mother, and a fun version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star - in the style of Les Dawson.
