Superstar indie rockers Kasabian are bringing Glastonbury to Sheffield - they have announced they will play the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday, December 13.

Tickets, from £30.98, go on sale this Friday, July 11, at 9.30am.

It comes after they headlined Glastonbury, played a historic hometown show in front of 50,000 people at Victoria Park in Leicester and announced a huge autumn tour.

Expect a mix of greatest hits, such as top 10 tunes Fire, Empire. Cut Off and LSF - Lost Souls Forever, plus new songs promoting their acclaimed fifth and latest album 48:13, their fourth consecutive chart-topping album.

Tom Meighan, on vocals, Sergio Pizzorno, guitar and vocals, Chris Edwards, bass and Ian Matthews, on drums, have also announced special guests the Maccabees.
