JLS pop pin-up Marvin Humes today announced the band’s Sheffield tour date and offered a few words of advice to South Yorkshire’s own Louis Tomlinson and One Direction.
Both bands were X Factor finalists and One Direction are tipped to follow in the footsteps of JLS.
JLS have already had five chart-topping singles and two hit albums since they burst on to the scene three years ago.
And Marvin’s top tip for success to Doncaster’s Louis and his band is to stay good friends.
“Everything else around them will happen.
“We’ve all got great teams around us,’
“The most important thing is to stay tight and remain true to each other.”
He told how the two bands have also struck up a close friendship.
Marvin was speaking exclusively to The Star as he revealed details of the JLS 4th Dimension UK tour, which is coming to Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena on Wednesday, March 28.
The tour will showcase their yet-to-be-named third album, due out on November 14.
Marvin said: “It’s going to be amazing. We enjoying coming to Sheffield.”
Tickets are £32.50 and £25, may be subject to a booking fee and are expected to sell out fast when they go on sale on Friday, September 9, at 9am.
