JESSIE J and vintage party starters Madness are both heading to Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena.
Fans of pop sensation Jessie – a coach on BBC show The Voice – will have to wait until March 3 to catch her first arena show, but tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am.
The star has hit number one in 19 countries worldwide, selling 11 million singles and over 2.5 million copies of her multi-platinum debut album Who You Are.
In the UK alone Jessie has sold one million albums and dominated the top of the singles charts with Price Tag and Domino, guaranteeing her a string of summer festival appearances as well as a Buckingham Palace spot for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations alongside Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John.
Recent hit Laserlight, featuring David Guetta, followed suit as her sixth top 10 UK single resulting in her breaking UK chart history with the most top 10 hits from one album for a British solo artist.
Baggy Trousers legends Madness, meanwhile, return to the Motorpoint on December 11 with their Charge Of The Mad Brigade tour.
Tickets also go on sale this Friday from the venue box office, via www.motorpointarenasheffield.co.uk, gigsandtours.com and ticketmaster.co.uk or from the 24-hour hotline 0844 811 0051.
