POP wizard Peter Andre will have fans under his spell in South Yorkshire tonight (Sat, Jan 19, 2013) - with tricks from the team behind street magician Dynamo, writes Graham Walker.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker will appear in the crowd when moments earlier he was centre stage.
It’s one of the many special effects which helps the tour to live up to its name of Up Close and Personal.
The show is selling out venues around the country and only returns may be available for tonight at Doncaster Dome.
In an exclusive backstage chat with The Star, when the show recently played at Sheffield City Hall, the 39-year-old revealed how he loves to see the shock on the faces of fans when he appears and sings right next to them in the audience.
“There’ve been some incredible reactions. It’s amazing. I was only on stage a second ago. They turn around and there I am – it’s the funniest thing,” he told The Star.
“A lot of people who come might only know Mysterious Girl, so you’ve got to give them two hours of pure entertainment.
“Doing TV and making albums is great fun, but the most fun is being on stage.”
The tour includes all his hits, tracks from his latest chart album Angels and Demons, plus John Lennon and Bob Marley covers.
Support acts are X Factor boy band The Risk and singer songwriter Sam Gray.
Tickets, priced from £28.50 to £75, limited. Call in person, try the Box Office on 01302 370777 and visit www.the-dome.co.uk.
