A brand new radio station with a star-studded DJ line-up including Mike Read, Tony Blackburn and John Leslie has launched in South Yorkshire.

Hallam 2 has been launched by the same team behind Hallam FM, with all the shows accompanied by a ‘Greatest Hits’ soundtrack featuring some of the biggest songs of the past six decades.

Veteran DJ Tony Blackburn said: “I for one can’t wait to start broadcasting those Greatest Hits across South Yorkshire in 2015.

“New Year, new radio station and even more top shows to tune into.”

Hallam 2 launched this week and is available on DAB Digital Radio, AM, online and free-to-download apps.

In order to receive the station’s digital frequency, you must re-tune your DAB radio to get the most up-to-date stations. For instructions on how to do this, head to www.getdigitalradio.com/retune.
