Thousands of Girl Guides from across the country danced the afternoon away in Sheffield at a special gig.

Around 9,000 youngsters attended the Girlguiding Big Gig at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday, June 13.

Among those performing were Labrinth and boy bands The Vamps and The Tide.

The show was presented by soul singer Dionne Bromfield.

The concert was only open to members of the Guides, with tickets being allocated through a random ballot for members.

The concerts are organised twice a year for the Guides, with 21,000 of them attending a show last year at Wembley Arena that included appearances by Diversity and former X Factor winners Little Mix.
