MORE musicians are set to get business advice from Doncaster’s Higher Rhythm community recording studio.
The organisation, which was one of a number of Doncaster groups to receive Arts Council cash in a wave of grants announced last week, hopes to extend its Plugged In Yorkshire scheme with the money it receives.
The studio runs a business development network which aims to provide musicians with help in making money out of their music.
In the past, the scheme has seen experts from major record labels and publishers coming to Doncaster to give advice.
Spokesman Frank Wilkes said: “We’re helping people become more business like, so that they are more than just musicians. The grant is really good news.”
