THERE’S no place like home. At least, not for one of the world’s biggest metal bands, Sheffield’s Bring Me The Horizon.

The band have just stepped off the plane from a worldwide tour - and this week met hundreds of their fans in the best-loved music store.

Bring Me the Horizon were signing copies of their latest album, Sempiternal, as fans from across the country piled into Record Collector in Broomhill.

The fact the band chose to hold their signing at the independent record store nods to their love of the city in which they still live.

Frontman Ollie Sykes said: “It’s always nice to come home. Sheffield’s calm. I like it.

“And the fact we’re from Sheffield is definitely a focal point of the band and something we make a big deal of when we are on tour.”

The band - who were all raised in Stocksbridge - are about to embark on a full UK tour to support their latest album.
