One Direction are to perform the first of three sell-out Sheffield concerts at the Motorpoint Arena next week - a homecoming to South Yorkshire for member Louis Tomlinson.
Tuesday’s show will be followed by a further two dates at the Arena - on Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14.
The performances are part of Louis, Zayn, Niall, Liam and Harry’s first headline arena tour, with shows selling out as soon as they have been added in the UK and around the world.
The matinee performance by One Direction on Sunday, April 14, at 2.30pm is only the second matinee concert to be performed at the Arena in its 21-year history, the other band being Steps.
Also performing at the Arena are Biffy Clyro, who are following the recent release of their new double-album Opposites with their biggest arena tour to date.
The band play at the Arena on Saturday, March 23, and tickets are on sale priced £28.50.
Biffy Clyro won Best Live Band awards from NME and Q in 2011 - and have played three sell-out tours in recent years.
