SHEFFIELD indie heroes Arctic Monkeys have revealed a full UK tour in November is on the cards, to promote new album Suck It And See.
But the band, speaking to Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, admitted it’s not ‘been nailed on’.
The Arctics were speaking after the premiere of the first single from their forthcoming fourth album.
Alex Turner’s band will play two homecoming shows in the Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield in June and will headline the V and T In The Park festivals.
The single Don’t Sit Down ’Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair is out this week on download and will be out on vinyl at the end of next month.
Speaking about autumn tour plans Turner said: “We’ll try and get a few sneaky ones in before.”
He said the foursome were going into rehearsals for their summer gigs this week.
He said: “The way we did the record this time we were pretty well rehearsed. It’s more the old ones which will be a bit rusty.” h
The singer described the sound and lyrics of Suck It And See, released on June 6, as being a mix of the previous three albums.
He said: “It’s got the sense of the humour like the first album.”
