Two local tea rooms boasting handbaked and home-made fayre...
117 Chesterfield Road, Sheffield, S8 0RN
Tea is a speciality at the Honeypie; it sells a huge variety of loose leaf teas, the most unusual being the fatigue fighter and one called rhubarb and custard. Each third Tuesday, save the dregs and get your tealeaves read.
All cakes and scones are made freshly on the premises and folk on vegan and gluten-free diets are catered for. At lunchtime, choose from fresh homemade soups or sandwiches. Full afternoon teas are served on dainty cake stands and cream teas are made with Devon clotted cream. A Honeypie Bazaar featuring local artists and crafters is being staged on Sunday August 4 and Sunday September 1.
