Sheffield's artisan tea company The Girl With The Golden Cup has scooped gold.

Caroline Thompson developed the luxury brand last year and is a winner in the Sheffield Business Awards 2010 - and her gold-flecked luxury blends are soon to go on sale in Harrods.

She won the Napoleons Casino & Restaurant Excellence in Retail Services Award having already been shortlisted for the Yorkshire and Humberside best taste and supreme drink of year,

Ray Smith, general manager at Napoleons, said: "Caroline has set the tea world alight. We are looking at working with her on some exciting projects."

It's gourmet French night at Platillos' next Delicioso food and wine night on January 27.

The Peacock at Rowsley has been awarded three AA Rosettes.
