The Tropical Butterfly House has become home to an Enchanted Fairy Forest for the half term holiday.
The North Anston attraction is offering visitors the chance to discover a world of fairies, pixies, goblins and dragons, in addition to the usual selection of animals.
Guided walks through the forest will take place several times a day, hosted by ‘fairy guides’, with the chance to explore intricate pixie villages and search for fantasy creatures.
A themed free-flying bird display will also take place twice daily throughout the week.
Operations manager Kim Bellis, who created the event, said: “I think it’s important for children in our modern society of computer games and other technology to have the opportunity to experience something magical that inspires their imagination.
“And, of course, adults all need the chance to be big kids now and then too!”
The Enchanted Fairy Forest event will take place daily from Saturday until June 1, from 10am to 5.30pm. Normal admission charges will apply.
