Dick Whittington leaves his poor existence in Gloucestershire behind to seek fame and fortune on the streets of London. His rise to the top is not going to be an easy ride, as the cantankerous King Rat has got a bone to pick with poor Dick and sets out to thwart his plans. Will he make it all the way? Will King Rat reign supreme? Will Fairy Bowbells save the day?
Britain’s Got Talent champions Ashleigh and Pudsey star in this wonderful re-telling of the pantomime classic, alongside Ben Faulks (Mr Bloom from CBBC). The show has packed out theatres up and down the country with glowing reviews confirming that this is no shaggy dog story – it’s a wags to riches delight that’s had toes tapping and tails wagging up and down the country.
Featuring show stopping dance routines, slapstick comedy, heaps of audience participation and an underwater 3D scene that’s had jaws dropping, Dick Whittington is the pantomime to see in 2014. Beamed via satellite from Bristol for one night only, it’s your chance to experience the show at Vue on Sunday 5th December at 5pm.
