VIDEO: Hitchcock – win advanced screening tickets

Have your say

MASTER of suspense Alfred Hitchcock is centre stage in a new biographical film starring Sir Anthony Hopkins – and we’ve got 80 tickets to be won for a special advanced screening.

That means you could see it free and first with The Star.

Hitchcock, set during the making of the legendary director’s greatest film, Psycho, goes on general release on Friday, February 8.

But we have teamed up with our pals at Fox Searchlight Pictures and Cineworld Sheffield for a screening four days earlier.

The Star digital editor Graham Walker will be there to video your reactions afterwards – so you could end up with a walk-on part, just like Hitchcock in his own films.

Lurking behind the icon was a hidden side, his creatively explosive romance with his film-making collaborator and wife Alma Reville, played by Helen Mirren.

Director Sacha Gervasi’s film lays bare their captivating and complex love story, rife with surprises, comic ironies and dark twists in the Hitchockian tradition.

At the heart of the film lies the obsessions and fears of two people and the tenacious love that drove Hitchcock’s art.

The Star has 40 pairs of tickets to be won in our free draw for a screening at Cineworld Sheffield on Monday, February 4, 6pm for 6.30pm start.
