The 67-year-old Hollywood movie legend conduct the high profile wedding proposal after inviting on stage Dean Goulding, 29, and Jessica Edding, 25.
And as Dean got down on one knee Arnold, standing between the couple, asked Jessica to say ‘I do’ while host Jonathan Ross played photographer, taking photos of all three of them as hundreds watched.
Fresh from accepting Dean’s surprise proposal, at The Centenary Pavilion Elland Road, Leeds, Jessica said: “I’m so shocked, it feels like I’m in a dream right now.
“I didn’t have a clue.
“I screamed. I’m a massive Arnie fan but Dean’s the one who has lots of pictures of him round the house!”

Arnold, who had been making his UK speaking debut, got an ecstatic reaction from the crowd when he also announced, using his most famous line in motion picture history, that he would be back.
Next time the former Governor of California says he hopes to be joined on stage by former rival turned best friend, Rocky star Sylvester Stallone.
First he has plans to return three franchise sequels to the big screen, starting with Terminator Genysis next July.
He is about to start reading the final edited script for another Conan film while studio bosses are hoping to reunite him with Danny Devito, for a follow up to their comedy, Twins, called Triplets.
Arnold, brought to Leeds by Olexyfresh Promotions in association with Rocco Bounvino Productions, said he would also like to make a follow uo to The Running Man and he is considering a return to directing, to make a film about German Eugen Sandow, the so-called ‘father of modern bodybuilding’.
The action icon talked movies, bodybuilding and politics during a captivating hour and a half event, where over £50,000 of signed memorabilia was auctioned
He also told how his ‘I’ll be back’ line almost never made it to the silver screen, because he thought it was too weak - wanting to change it to ‘I will be back’. But director James Cameron convince him otherwise.
A former Governor of California, he paid tribute to his late friend and Leeds United reserve player Reg Park, who went on to be crowned Mr Universe and starred in Hercules movies, which formed a blueprint for his life..
Arnie told the crowd: “It’s emotional coming to Leeds because my idol Reg Park was born here. He was one of the greatest body builders of all time.
“I am addicted to working out. It feels so good to get up in the morning and ride the bicycle for an hour, or do the treadmill, or do some kind of vascular training. And then at night, before dinner, to go back and do 45 minutes with the weights. I can only have this really great rush and be positive the whole day when I work out.
“This is something I will always do until I am 6ft under.”
Of his films he said he had three particular favourites: “I would say Conan The Barbarian was my big international first breakthrough movie. Terminator was the first movie to tell the audience that I didn’t have to be in a Hercules loin cloth and Twins was the first comedy that broke through for me in that area.
“It is the greatest honour to be 67 years old and to be asked back in those franchise movies - the Terminator and Conan.
“When I go back to Los Angeles I will get the final scrip for the new Conan film and see it for the first time. They are re-writing it right now, fixing the end.
“I have tried to convince Universal studios for 20 years to go back and continue with the Conan series. They weren’t as enthusiastic as I was. But new leadership came in a few years ago and they saw it entirely differently. They came back to me saying they want to pick up the Conan series.
“I’m really excited about that to do another Conan movie and hopefully it will be soon.
“They are also talking about a sequel to Twins, to do Triplets - with Danny DeVito.Again another franchise.
“Running Man, if we would have had the visual effects we have now would be great. It was a successful movie. It’s like the Hunger Games, that kind of idea. Now if someone writes it well It could be an extraordinary movie. I hope nobody decides to do that idea without me. I really would like to pick it up where we left it off.
“May be down the line I will get beck to directing again. There’s a movie I always wanted to do about Eugen Sandow, the first strongman who was very muscular.”
He added: “You never know what film lines people will pick up on,’
“I argued with James Cameron for half an hour because I wanted to say I will be back. This ‘I’ll’ sounded weak to me.
“He said ‘Arnold, do I tell you how to act?’ I said ‘no’. He said, ‘then don’t tell me how to write and say the line as it’s written’.
“He promised to film it 10 different ways, which he did, to calm me down. He said it doesn’t sound weak when you say that, don’t worry about it.
“I had no idea this line would be the line of the movie and today the most quoted line in the history of motion pictures.”
Of giving up his dream to become President of the United States - the Constitution prevents him, because he wasn’t born on the United States, he laughed: “It is British fault that we have that stupid Constitution rule in the first place, because the Americans didn’t want a Brit to come over and run for President in America in the early days.
“I’m also upset it was Great Britain that was occupying my area in Austria after the second world war. If it had been the Americans I would have ben able to run for President, because it would have been American territory.
“But all jokes aside, I’ve accomplished everything in my life because of America. So I wouldn’t complain about the one thing I can’t do.
“It’s an old law and I hope someone will change it eventually.
“I wold have run for President without any doubt. This is what I was born for. To be a leader, I feel comfortable in a leadership position and taking on challenges. I don’t have thin skin. I don’t get rattled by the media writing something negative. That’s what you have to do in power.
“I never get annoyed about people doing the Arnie voice in an Austrian accent. It’s funny. When I wanted to get into movies they said my accent is the thing that would hold me back. Now people imitate it all the time on television and radio. They love the accent. It’s part of me now. It became an asset.”
