A two-day festival celebrating archaeology and culture in Sheffield is to be held this spring.
Archaeology in the City are hosting the festival in the Discovery Centre at Ecclesall Woods from May 25-26.
This festival aims to provide Sheffielders with an opportunity to learn about local research, discover more about local heritage, and join in with hands-on activities, demonstrations, and talks. All activities are intended to help Sheffield people engage with the city’s past and see how it has shaped our modern day local community.
The festival has been organised in collaboration with University of Sheffield post-grad students.
