A charity beauty pageant with a difference is coming to Sheffield in May.
The Dream Street Yorkshire pageant involves no fake tans, the girls wear jeans and T-shirts, and no make up is allowed on contestants under 13 years of age.
The event on May 18 will be held in the Courtyard bar and cafe on Attercliffe Road and will raise funds for Arthritis Research UK and Bullies Out.
Organiser Jessica McCubbin, who is the current Miss East Yorkshire Curve, said: “The pageant is an all natural pageant. It is nothing like you see on toddlers and tiaras!”
The pageant, which includes evening wear, T-shirts and denim and ‘South Yorkshire and proud’ rounds, is open to females aged four to 45. Women who have been married or had children are welcome to enter.
