A FUNDRAISING campaign has been launched to help a Sheffield musician with severe disabilities achieve his dream.
Colleagues at Sheffield firm Gripple are encouraging the public to help raise at least £1,000 to enable Raymond De Grussa, a 59-year-old man with cerebral palsy, to travel to Bournemouth in May for the annual Barbershop Convention.
Ray, a non-singing fundraising member of a local barbershop group and a lifelong music fan, is a resident at Mickley Hall, a Leonard Cheshire disability care home in Totley.
Ray, who studied music at The University of Sheffield, has recorded two albums and listens to the barbershop group regularly.
