A SOUTH Yorkshire couple are over the moon after winning an £800 wedding video package.
Lianne Hibbert and Mark Asquith, of Barnsley, could not believe it when their names were chosen in a prize draw they entered on Facebook, run by Sheffield firm One Wedding.
Their prize is a 10-minute highlights video of their wedding day, filmed and edited to music by the One Wedding team.
Mark aged 30, who proposed to Lianne in Cyprus last August, said: “It’s so exciting – we’ve never won anything before.
Lianne, 28, said: “We just couldn’t afford a videographer, by the time we’d paid for everything else. To think somebody will be filming us getting ready, the ceremony, speeches, dancing and we’ll have this amazing snapshot of our day to keep is incredible.”
The couple are tying the knot in August at a barn in West Yorkshire, and the One Wedding team – Tom Pumford, Jeremy Wong and Mike Bold – will attend.
Tom said: “All three of us will be filming on the day, to cover every angle and make sure nothing is missed, which will make the final video really special for Lianne and Mark.”
The trio, who all come from a film and digital media background, share a common vision, for creating a new, more American style of wedding video and it was this that prompted them to launch the company last year.
Jeremy said: “Lianne and Mark have a lot planned which will make it a beautiful video.”
