Town’s new music festival

Tickhill’s first ever music and dance festival will be taking place in the town on Saturday, September 21.

TFest, organised by the Tickhill Together volunteers, will give musicians, performers and dancers a unique platform to display their talents.

Among the wide variety of attractions for all ages being staged at 12 venues around the town will be jazz, pop, classical, rock, Irish folk, punk, line dancing, Zumba and ballroom dancing.

Musicians wanting to perform can send a demo CD of three tracks to the TFest management team who will review the applicants.

Singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and acrobats wanting to take to the TFest stage can audition at a Tickhill’s Got Talent event in front of a potential audience of 150 at Tickhill Institute.
