Sheffield’s branch of the RSPCA is holding its 20th annual charity dinner dance at Baldwin’s Omega on Friday, February 7 - with a six course meal the centrepiece of the event.
The annual fundraiser at the Nether Edge venue also features live music from The Harlem Nights playing a wealth of Motown classics and music from the 80s.
Branch chairman Kathryn Whitlam said: “For our annual fundraising dinner David Baldwin is bringing together a wealth of gastronomic delights for us featuring traditional dishes from the four nations using ingredients from the local area.
“We all look forward to eating delicious food, enjoying fantastic company with old friends and making new ones and at the same time raising vital funds for the Sheffield Animal Centre.
“We really hope people will once more get their glad rags out and come along to raise some much needed funds for our animal welfare charity.
“Our centre re-homes and rehabilitates unwanted and cruelly treated animals. It costs over £2,000 a day to run our animal centre so events such as these are vital to our charity’s survival.”
