RESIDENTS in Barnsley are being asked to take part in the recording of a poem which will be played as visitors arrive at a new museum in the town.
The Barnsley People’s Poem, penned by local schools and community groups, is being recorded at the Civic Theatre on Saturday, November 10, from 10.30am.
The piece is being featured in the Experience Barnsley Museum and Discovery Centre, set to open in the Town Hall next year. Call 01226 327000 to confirm attendance.
