Sheffield music favourites Reverend and The Makers will be meeting their fans with a special in-store set and album signing session.

The quintet – above from left, drummer Ryan Jenkinson, keyboardist Laura McClure, frontman Jon ‘The Reverend’ McClure, guitarist Ed Cosens and bassist Joe Carnall – will perform at HMV, High Street, Sheffield city centre to promote album Thirty Two, inset.

A spokesman said: “Thirty Two is their most hotly-anticipated album to date.

“Reverend and The Makers are well practised for their upcoming UK tour following a 32-date set of gigs at fans’ homes who were tweeting their locations to Jon.

“Thirty Two is named after his age, signalling an exciting new chapter for the band, whose age grants them a mature acceptance about the reality of the music industry.”

The acoustic set will take place on the day of the album’s release – Monday, February 24 – at 5.30pm.
