Barnsley pub gig raises cash for dementia cause

Bands performed at a Barnsley pub to raise cash for charity.

Ten bands played The Pig Gig, at the Rose and Crown – nicknamed The Pig – in Worsbrough Common, raising £500 for Barnsley Independent Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support. Linda Pattison, of Biads, said: “We are so grateful – without local support we couldn’t provide the services we do.”
