A summer play scheme at a Sheffield summer school has been boosted by a £5,600 grant from BBC Children in Need.
The Summer Stay and Play Club at Norfolk Park Special School has been able to run for two days a week throughout the six week break as a result of the funding.
The club which is aimed at disadvantaged youngsters with special needs from the surrounding community, supporting their families during the long summer holidays.
It has attracted pupils who already attend the school but also their brothers, sisters, parents and carers.
The money has also paid for play leaders and staff for activities such as swimming, pony riding, picnics and sports days.
